Wrapping the Year Up
To showcase the major features and news that Copyleaks shared throughout the year, the idea of the “Wrapped” newsletter—popularized by Spotify—was suggested to add fun, playfulness, and color to the celebratory campaign. Having these qualities in mind, I wanted to make sure that the Copyleaks “Wrapped” identity would not just be similar in tone to the original source material but also still ring true to the Copyleaks brand identity. 

For this, the idea for the type lock-up came from the idea of literally “unwrapping” a gift on Christmas Day, and how the ribbons and wrapping paper fly in the air,  giving an almost ethereal yet delightful feeling to the type. The idea of confetti was also an inspiration for the accompanying visual accents, such as the burst stars and “ribbons”. In true Copyleaks fashion, the glassmorphic shapes and shades of blue and teals were also used, to marry both style and brand into one visually punchy rollout.

Marketing collateral included an email newsletter, Instagram and LinkedIn social posts, as well as a blog.
